Too excited to sleep...
Here it is after 4am, and I simply cannot fall asleep. I feel like a child on Christmas Eve, waiting for this amazing gift! Lexi and Cole are excited, also, but thankfully they were able to sleep. As I snuggle with Riley, I can't help but wonder what it'll be like to see Willow for the very first time. I pray she has a safe and uneventful flight and that she's happy to see us, too. Let's try this one more time...sleep, Cassie, sleep.

ReplyDeleteShe was such a good girl last night. Slept in the crate she will fly in until 4am, almost until the time she usually wakes up at 5am when Mark lets everyone out.
ReplyDeleteShe is now out back with the pack running and playing and probably rolling in chicken poop. Sorry!
I've told her a million times how much I love her and how I am going to miss her happy smile. I know she is going to have the most amazing life out there with you guys. And I told her how I will get to see her again someday when her new pack moves back to the west coast.
Off to shower and make some this end up labels and get her crate ready....
Enjoy your new addition. I always freak out about flying puppies and they are always fine.
